Growing Pains - Acts 6:1-7

In Acts 6:1–7, the early church experiences growing pains. As the number of disciples multiplies, a real problem arises: Hellenistic widows are being overlooked in the daily distribution of food.
Instead of ignoring the issue or assigning blame, the apostles lead the church to respond with wisdom, unity, and Spirit-filled service. They protect the priority of prayer and the ministry of the Wor
d while empowering faithful servants to meet real needs within the body.
In “Growing Pains,” we see that a healthy church takes both spiritual and practical needs seriously. Growth will always bring challenges, but when God’s people serve together, protect unity, and prioritize the Gospel, the Word of God continues to spread.
