LIFE GROUPS

Life is Better in groups!

Life Groups are our primary environments for true spiritual growth. We will gather as families to study God’s word, build deep relationships with other believers, and go on mission to mobilize disciples of Jesus Christ to the sidelines and sidewalks.

FAQs

What is Life Group?
Life Groups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A Life Group Leader determines how often their group meets and what the focus of the group is. Life Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect.
How do I join a Life Group?
There are several ways to join:
1. Visit the Connect 2|42 area in the lobby and talk to the volunteers there.
2. Find the list of Life Groups online and register or contact the Group Leader through email.
3. Talk to someone you know who leads a Life Group and ask if their group is open to new members. There is always room for one more!
Is it ok to ’shop around’ for a Life Group?
Absolutely! It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a Life Group and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up. Keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a perfect Life Group because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that this group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try.
What do you do in a Life Group?
Every Life Group is unique. Some discuss the weekend message or content found on RightNow Media. Some select a specific study they want to go through like a parenting study or a marriage study. Some like to do service projects together. Some like to eat meals together. There are all types of groups!

Two things you’ll find in every Life Group, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their faith.
What if I have any other questions about Life Groups?
See our Connect242 team on Sunday mornings or fill out the online Connect Form. Let us know any questions you have, and we’ll get back to you promptly.
