In this message from Acts 1:1–11, we begin our journey through the book of Acts by looking at what it means to be The Church Empowered. Before the early church was sent out, Jesus grounded them in the reality of His resurrection, commanded them to wait for the promised Holy Spirit, and gave them a clear mission: to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.

The church was never meant to operate on hype, personality, or human strength. We need the risen Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a renewed commitment to live as witnesses in our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and to the nations. The power has been promised. The mission has been given. The question is: will we step into it?
