Don’t Make It Difficult - Acts 15

In Acts 15, the early church faces a question that could have changed the direction of Christianity: Is Jesus enough, or do we need Jesus + something else?

In “Don’t Make It Difficult,” we look at the Jerusalem Council and how the apostles defended the Gospel of grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone while also calling believers to pursue unity and love. 

The challenge for the church today is the same: Don’t add to the Gospel. Don’t put unnecessary barriers in front of people coming to Jesus. And don’t use Christian freedom in ways that divide the family of God.

You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to Jesus. Come to Him and let Him do the cleaning.
